About This Collection

Sid Dickens invites us to journey into 2013 with him and celebrate a fresh start. His Orient Express collection offers up the inner traveler a feast of imagined stops rich with exotic colours and imagery.

Distant travels are hinted at with references to antiquated currency and symbols from the Taj Mahal and its surroundings. Spring flowers abound with the promise of new beginnings. Pink petals gather at the base of ancient trees in a hidden, gated garden – the juxtaposition of the old and the new.

There’s a reminder here to be playful when laying all your cards on the table, whether the target of the game is love or perhaps something more light-hearted.
